seassy

sea blue AA hoody? gots to hop on this!
i was actually at AA in the summer and i saw a track jacket in sea blue...and i think they discontinued that (or maybe it was a prototype...) but now it's the time to pounce y'all.

or possibly this:
social suicide to all except FannyPack

so we have two new favorite songs:
dead and gone - T.I. and Justin Timberlake
and
cry in my heart - starfield.

yeah two very different... but we sang the starfield song at fellowship on tuesday night.

there's a cry in my heart
for your glory to fall
for your presence to fill up my sense
there's a yearning again
a thirst for discipline
a hunger for things that are deeper

could you take me beyond?
could you carry me through?
if i open my hear?
could i go there with you?
for i've been here before
but i know there's still more
oh, lord, i need to know you

for what do i have
if i don't have you, jesus?
what in this life
could mean any more?
you are my rock
you are my glory
you are the lifter
of my head
lifter of this head

so i know i don't go deep ever but this song had power, man.

list time

things that i miss:
  • #8 at PPQ and pho in general
  • panda express
  • showering barefoot
  • wireless
  • tv
my weekend:
  • went to intervaristy's new student overnighter retreat on friday...was pretty fun. we slept on the floor of this church basement (which doubled as a preschool - shoutout to ctbc similarities). and i was sleeping in a sleeping bag i borrowed which played some tricks on my mind. then on sunday i checked out a church in berkeley... Living Water Fellowship. it was nice. a lot of singspiration. like 30 minute singspirations sandwich the sermon. a lot of praising...rediscovered "He Knows My Name" and sang "Your Love Never Fails"... which might be my new favorite song (and similar to judith's "Grace Never Fails" in name). then i came back to sf sunday night. and monday the whole fam went to Ton Kiang for some dim sum and then we went to the new academy of sciences...because my dad bought membership and today was preview day. it's cool...kinda bare. i miss the old one. new york's has more animals (like skunks!). came back to berksturbia (which is my new name for berkeley)
things i'm looking forward to:
  • winter break
  • graduating in 2012
  • 11.08.08
  • 30 rock season premiere
  • wicked
  • getting a dslr someday
  • october 14th...unveiling of new macbooks according to macrumors.com (shout out to fellow nerd ada for the heads up)
  • other things.

meangirls

1:00 - 1:04 ish

"part of the list"

...is a song by Ne-Yo that i be diggin now
and the world gon' be diggin in the near future.
git on it.

so monday...had no classes so i woke up and did some homework. then jeannie and ada came to visit me...went to le petit cheval where the lady basically commanded us that "the food is good."
then she gave us the wrong change so jeannie helped me flag her down and ask her for the five dollars she was holding out on...and then homegirl busts out her chinatown coin purse and pulls out a 5 from her own personal collection. weird. then we went to ikea and i bought a lint roller for one dollar.
then later that night i get a weird ol' call from allison. and somehow she manages to sneak into my building and hunt me down and she left this weird post it on my door that says "Mermaids are cool. over and out. i'll be back"

then tuesday edward the birthday boy/chauffeur, jimmy, val, chris came up and picked up judy and me to go to north face. i wasn't initially going to buy anything. but there were deals that are hard to resist.
like this fine and sessy beanie:
or this other fine and sessy beanie:
or this fine and sessy and silky shirt:
which i only bought because it reminds me of jacko's nike shirt.

and i took photobooth pictures of them. in my room. when no one else was in.
i like to play it on the dangerous side.

so life is swell

the end of this era

but there we is! youth choir is over for me.

i started when i was a freshman... jacko insists that he dragged me along/i only joined because he did...but i think it was a mutual joining.
yes...choir was def central part of high school life
shout outs to all y'all choir leaders..i think when i was there i had adrienne, jeannie, clifton, cindy, melissa, denise...ooohwee

i'm going to miss such. now i guess i'll just go home after worship...and nap.

my kanye, incarcerated

oh kanyeezy
to quote best week ever,
gotta support that fool...by dropping forty dollah dollah billz on this righteth here

in other news...
them ipod na-NEWs
they look really cool! i wonder if there's some space in my bank to make room for a hot yet cool, sessy yet sophisticated, timeless yet trendy, magenta pink ipod nano.
i tell you the truth, pink is the new non-femme color.

and have you all checked out the new itunes? the visualizer's pretty niice nice.
sometimes i stare at it for hours

k i was trying to post photos of my desk/view but blogger was not cooperating with those two...
BUT horseman sent me a package!

so kind so kind. i checked my mailbox like 8 times a day when i found out it was on its way and it finally came. it's a nation's cup with the Cal football dates on the back
so now i'm thinking of what to send horseman. maybe a leaf/twig from the redwood the tree-sitters lived on.

so anyways, here are some photos from last friday's fellowship. courtesy of leslie.

so the above two are from Genki crepes, which we went to when it was technically closed. then two other girls came in begging for crepes and the two workers gave in and turned the crepe griddle back on. and then leslie was like "what's your name!? i want to remember you" and then the worker kinda got flustered and was like "i..uh..i don't have a name" (...) so leslie was like "that's alright i'll call you......" and forreals i thought she was about to say 'jorge' which would've been RACIST. but instead she said "...Jordan"
the end.

and here is mufasa.
say hey to this hoodlum before he leaves. which is soon. like in 5 days

and i cannot appreciate this happy picture when i think of icarus' departure
...

happy birthday nevstah!
surrender musiCAL this weekend! i've been getting really excited. it's hard to practice my singing/dancing in the dorms though...i have to do it stealth-mode. like when my roommates are at class/in empty bathrooms...it's all fun and games.
see you DURR!

VMA's: downgrade

they weren't that good.
some quotables:
Hater Supreme, Larry Constiello (or something): "maybe we'll see T-pain next year...if he's still relevant"
HATER!

Katy Perry: "maybe if i lose best new artist i'll make my own Moonman out of tin foil"
Hannah Montana: "i don't even know what that means!"
that's why you don't belong here, hannah.
that's about all i remember. then HSM presented, and it looks like someone skipped out on rehearsal (ZAC EFRON)...
0:40
and because youtube will probably take down that vijjeo, here's the play-by-play:
so here the two on the left are doing their job, saying 'welcome christina aguilera!' while vanessa hudgens and zac efron are spacing out
vanessa does a good save.
then zac tries to save himself
but he gives up
and fails
hopefully the 26th VMA's are a little mo better
so i don't have to hate it out on the interweb.

outtiez.
