hmm...
Satchurday, June 28, 2008
it was wedding time... so my mom's hula sister (basically who she dances hula with) got married...but we call her 'auntie' because we're close and i dance hip hop with her daughter and stuff...
so anyways, the dj is doing his thang and there's this blue dressed-girl doing some freaky deeky...at a family function. and it's really like crazy spastic... like pop-it, crack-it, pop-it, twerk it, shimmy, swirl, shake your hair, grind, back-it-up...and all of that in one move.
so whenever it caught our eyes, it was a "code blue"
it was fun.
by the way, her name was Cheadah... pronounced 'cheetah'
1. When Crockett came back after going too deep on Miami Vice, and they pulled their guns on him at his locker. They pulled their guns on Crockett! He gave his life to that job! He's good police!
2. When Jerry Orbach left Law & Order
3. When I realized the theme song to The Greatest American Hero was the best song ever, and that i would never hear a better song again.
4. When Sam closed the bar one last time on Cheers.
5. Every Oprah
6. When i found out The Hills was fake/real. But then I realized that it's real/fake.
7. When Walt was taken by the Others on Lost. I gasped. And then uttered, "hell, no."
8. When Snoop was shot on The Wire. Before Michael shot her, she asked him if her hair looked good. That was profoundly sad because (a) her hair looked great and (b) what? You're going to be dead within 15 seconds! Think about that.
9. When that woman had to shave her had on The Amazing Race
10. Jason Bateman's big, teary family-tribute speech at the end of Arrested Development's last episode. That was for reals, y'all.
Okay, I actually only think 5, 6, 7, and 9 are funny...
but maybe because those are the only ones i understand.
so that was major nerd-status that i typed all of that up.
Well i had a not-so poppin' Satchurday evening... I went to target with ada and then came home and watched Camp Rock with douglas...except on abc they decided to put in 10-minute long commercials so the movie ended up being like 3 hours....not worth it.
so anyway, here is a collection of recent photobooths...because they've been m.i.a. for too long...
